What was the name of that Karate guy who was in the early UFC fight and got pounded to a snotty heap, Fred Ettish ? That fight was a case in point. He looked smart at the start, but it was not to last.

What ever happened to him ??

EEk! I forget what a thumping he got. I've met so many people like him over the years.
I think that they are locked in there own little world and just don't see the reality of real situations and real fights.

Still he lived to fight another day.

I'm not defending Karate here, but Gerad Gourdeau who was in those early UFC matches was actually a Kyokushinkai practicioner.  He is as hard-sore as it gets.  Also, don't forget Keith Hackey who was a Karate man who kicked the shit out of a Sumo wrestler three times his size when the UFC didn't have weight classes.
