you know, TKD gets a bad rap. I started out with a Korean fellow, ROK vet, Moo DO KWAN, and every inch of this guy was bad news. His classes were tough and wiihtout the flash you see nowadays. Hell, he didn't even teach spinning kicks. we just fooled around with those on our own. His joint locks were frighteningly fast and brutal, as were his reaps and throws. I've never seen anyone who could focus more power into a strike or move as effeciantly as him. But, he was a martial artist. He had studied since he was a child and dedicated his life to it. He was also a physically gifted athlete. Anyway, it was good tough training. Enough for SD purposes? No, thats why i started exploring elsewhere.
