I'm just trying to figure out exactly how I'm the one looking like a fool here?

For someone who didn't achieve an awful lot during a very short period as a non-combatant in the military, you certainly do make a lot of noise about being a 'veteran' and have the temerity to point fingers at others for their lack of service - outstanding effort.

I meet a few guys like you every so often, that had a stab at being 'all they could be' but fell short, and then remind the world at every chance they get how they served their country.  Be proud of your country, absolutely, but try to make sure that your country is also proud of you...

Coming out with cute, but lame, comments such as "You see that little gold and green lapel pin avatar in the top left hand of this post, That's all you need to know about me."  is evidence of your deluded view of what you actually achieved - is that what defines you then?  Two years of fixing helicopters and a medical discharge?  Somebody could be forgiven for reading your nonsense and assuming you were present on combat operations, such is the impression you seem to want to convey.  Perhaps if it were 20+ years it could be true - in any branch of the service - that you were a true military man, and that such a service was a defining and shaping period of your life, but two fucking years?

It must be a different situation with the US Army, but here you'd be classed as being barely trained after only two years - and I'm aware that some of this time would be inactive due to the terms of your final duty disposal.  Two fucking years - tops - makes you little more than a rank novice still wet behind the ears, hardly something to make any noise about as a 'veteran' of any description.

As for being an expert with blades, guns, batons etc - do we just take your word for it?

You sound like a very dangerous man indeed, I'd love to see the proof.

What makes you look like a fool is the fact you read a few bullshit stories posted on the internet then actually believe them. Then you start addressing people you do not know based on those stories without ever having looked into them yourself.

From what I see your a big buddy of Brian S. the scumbag who made fun of a mans dead dog. We hillbillies dont have many rules but one that is at the top of the list is dont ever talk shit about a mans dog.

You have no idea about me or my service but I would like to straighten you out concerning one thing. Men are proven in seconds, not years. You could have sat on your ass for 13 years in the British Military and never done a thing or you could have been deployed with a couple months service and got your ass shot off. It does make good cover for internet warriors to go make claims of fame according to time in service but the internet nor time in service mean shit compared to your ability and willingness to fight.

One thing that you should have noticed right off is you do not have anyone that knows me talking shit about me. Just a bunch of losers on the internet, very telling. Oh yea, I'm Retired Army, but then again that would not mean anything to you from reading the dumb you shit you just posted here.

"Remind me how many died at Waco, when the target could've been arrested during his weekly grocery-store run?" - Coup

Or! least we forget, the Wednesday afternoon barber shop run. As first suggested by the local Texas Rangers who knew the town, and the group, but scoffed at by the Feds.

But they also had to search the compound and question the kids about child abuse. BUT the local police and Rangers felt like if they had arrested David Koreash first, then the cult - fairly leaderless would have more or less surrendered.

I only mentioned this incident to highlight that - as far as I know at least - we don't hold the monopoly on serious tactical fuck-ups over here, though I'm willing to be enlightened!

As for being an 'expert' I've always held the view that if someone else calls you an expert, and they have a little subject credibility - plus no vested interest - then it's just possible that you may be one.

If you call yourself an expert however, unless you are writing promotional copy in the third party perhaps, then it's generally a case of you really want to be one, but are not.

Not sure what a Barney Bullet is..... But I have never "been issued" with any kind of bullet.  Never needed one.

There is armed crime in Britain of course.  And I have faced armed criminals.  But I've managed to cope.

Never had to deal with an angry Helicopter though.

Brian S,
A Barney Bullet is a reference to a TV show called Andy of Mayberry and a deputy who had a pistol and was given one bullet to carry in his pocket for use in Extreme Emergencies.

While sheriff Andy, patrolled, arrested and disarmed country folk armed WITH Fire Arms, and ANDY Carried NONE.

That may be, but on how many separate occasions have you dealt with an angry girlie bike?!

Is it the girlie that's angry, or the bike?
