Nightmare scenario!
ambush by armed men.  Is this kind of violence more common now because it's basically against the law to defend ones self with fire-arms? and thugs know that their victims are completely disarmed, untrained, and vulnerable?  Laws that send a message that a law abiding citizen is automatically a victim, also send a message to lawless others.  It's a complex issue today, because of how far society has "progressed".  So many issues.  We could fill up a dictionary with all the issues involved.  What is the root cause?  There has always been violence.  The video shows what seems to be random violence.  Young kids getting off on killing?  It is an impressive video.  What sticks in my mind is Glenn was being harassed by the authorities down there in Australia for helping people prepare for that worse case scenario, and here we are faced with a growing problem of violence of this sort.  With a bit of attention, could those two guys have detected the intentions of the perps?  And if so, what were their options?  They were big dudes.  Running would have been an option -Maybe- maybe not.  What a dilemma.  Openly carrying an arm may have helped.  Disarming the population definitely doesn't help.  Young undisciplined forkers roving in gangs with no outlook to a future life,  armed and looking for trouble is bad.  Citizens cowering in their homes because of.....100's of reasons.....but mainly fear of attack.  Looking back over 60 years,  adroit observers can track changes and statistics, and know what has happened, and knew what the results would be. (my opinion), and allowed it because it's so damned easy to control masses of people with fear.  I'll go out on a limb here and say that changes in the family through the years, specifically the fact that kids grow up alone, raised by the public education system because of the promotion of women in the work place has broken the family unit.  Both parents work, good for govt.  double the tax income. bad for families.  and in the end, I think I'd be called a biggot chauvanist because of the idea that the family is the key to successful youth, along with a good ass-whippin when necessary, and plenty of ice-cream and cake.

Violence evoles with the times, this video is not shocking in anyway shape or form. Swarm or wolf pack attacks arn't news it been going on for years and will continue to grow. The use of or carrying of knives isn't new either. The video stated that knife attacks are up 50 percent, thats a pretty usless number, up from percent from what?

The whimping out of the general population? well that seems to be a trend that has evolved with the violence. Odd really.

To be fair I didn't watch the whole thing so if they gave out any numbers in terms of how many knife attacks please correct me.

On a side note, my Dad carried a knife (and used it) while growing up "back in the day" (think Sharks and Jets or maybe the Fonze) I carried and my friends carried knives as teens. Its always been here and it wont go anytime soon.
