PS I'd vote for Obama if I could. I'm hoping he gets replaced by Ellen Degeneris. Suffer Arnold... SUFFFFFF=-FFFEERRRRRRRRR
The above PS was written and paid for by an anonymous UK Policeman. OK, it wasn't. DId I ever tell you I knew a Commando once?
Now, THAT was funny!
I get asked by people all the time (because they know I work in electronics) about tweeting, texting, MySpace, Facebook, etc. They act so surprised when I inform them that I don't do any of that stuff. I try to keep up on advances in technology (I
love my little GPS unit!); after all, that's what I get paid to do! But, other than my posting on this forum (

), I just have no interest in idle chatter with folks I don't even know. I do have long conversations with family and friends from time to time, but I see no reason to share personal information (especially my bowel movements!) with the entire internet community.
So, I just don't get the popularity of it all. My daughter is a texting monster and, for a while, she was a little irritated that I refused to comply with her desire for me to text or have a Facebook account.
"Everyone else is doing it, Dad, you need to keep up with the times!"
So, after a brief discussion as to why Daddy doesn't care what "everyone else" is doing, we agreed to disagree on the importance of certain types of communication.
BTW, she was completely fascinated by the Twitter phenomenon last year; just a few weeks ago she informed me that her friends "tweets" were so stupid and such a waste of time that she wasn't bothering with them anymore. I was so proud; I didn't even say, "I told you so!"
