Now we're talkin!  This is way more interesting to me than all the finesse of a knife system.  Anatomical facts, real world survival stories...something I can really learn from.  Thanks Hock.

shastana- i agree-i think one learns more from reviewing  real life incidents in any altercation than practise on the mat -one has to see what occures when their is no point system-no ref-
no time limit-
Yes-one has to practise tactics but actual review of what happens (INMHO) shows how
you responded in a actual situation-and the results that occur.

It will be great to have ol' Whitewolf back in TN again, away from Kuwait, where I can see him regularly (beat up and fight with youngens' half his age).

just read part 2=what it shows me is that hours of practise on defending aginst a stab that is taught by "martial arts instructors"- who never haver been in a real fight is a waste of time unless they put some reality into it under extreme stress. Hope i am right about that statement...and i think i am..

by rereading and review of the part 1 and part 2 makes one think of real world sanarios that they could wind up in and should practise for.

thanks Hock- see you later in the year- Richard WW-ELB..
