WW, I think being Jewish and an ex-Marine etc you have sufficient cred and connections... I wouldn't worry! You can call it Krav Maga if you feel like it. If they say they want certification tell them you offer one they can carry with them and use it to fight off the attackers with.

Well shoot, WW.  If you're Jewish, then that's a bit different.  From a cultural standpoint, it would make a bit more sense that you'd think self defense as termed Krav Maga!  I'd still use caution with making sure people aren't mislead as to what they are getting, but hey, it's your show and I wish you all the best as you look to teach and share your knowledge!

Guys what is interesting is that when i go to services in any part of the world-and self defense talk comes up-we dont talk about belts, certificates, etc- what we talk about is
training to be safe no matter what the circumstances is.

while in Bairain at the hotel pool i met a gentleman who worked at the counslate
of isreal-we discussed training -no mention of rankings etc-

i have met a few people the last few years that say they are ranked in style X-i just say ok-it dont matter to me what one wears its what they can do is what is ok.....

The old pro boxer who does not get in the ring any more-but if attacked will kiil
the opponent/the soldier who made countless recon patrols and can read the surrounding area-he is deadly also-

the black belt who never walked i.e. howard street at 10pm in Newark -i am worried about him....

its not if one says he/she is ranked in something its how he/she uses it in real life.

so--i study KM and it makes me happy-no belts-no certificates-just training....
