Has anyone heard about or developed an opinion about the Hideaway Knife. It was developed to be concealable behind on object the size of an ID card, almost impossible to lose hold of and to be almost instantly accessible. It consists basically of a two-finger sized opening, custom fitted to the first and second fingers, out of which extends, at the the top of the knuckle of the first finger, an approximately two-inch blade, which may be straight, clawed, or curved in hybrid fashion. Clenching the fist would orient the blade in the direction of the punch, it seems, and the fist closed around the finger(s) hole would seem to make it just about undroppable, even if wet, oily, or bloody. Because of the custom fitting of the hole, the knife apparently stays attached to the open hand, which may be occupied in other ways without loss of the knife.
Read some letters in BLADE magazine which got me to the
www.HideAwayKnife.com site. Seems like a great idea. Any opinions?
