Scott Witt, Dark House SF, Cherokee...what?
« on: February 17, 2010, 10:46:15 PM »

Breitbart Interview today and already questions about this Witt...guy...

"Everything I did in special forces was ‘black ops’.  I first joined the Rangers back in 1987 and I was only with the Rangers for a year when I decided to join what was called ‘the Cherokee’ at that time.  They were a mixture of special forces.   It was not just Rangers, it was Navy SEALs, it was Marines, it was everyone.  And they’d take the best of the best…and create one unit.  And that unit answered only to the Pentagon.  And from that point forward, all we did was black ops.  Nothing we ever did could be talked about from that point forward."

I'm thinking that already that stinks on ice...I started to read the comments way down on the bottom of the article. Some vets respond...I am not alone...

The word is that this guy is a TOTAL Fraud.
http://www.professionalsoldiers.com/forums/showthread.php?p=315846

No such team existed in Special Forces or Special Operations.

There was and is again a Combat Team from the 506th Airborne Infantry called
Currahee Teams,
It was around in 1987
Not Special Operations or Ranger related.

Mr Witt never mentions US Army or Military Service in his Bio.
Probably not allowed to as it was all Black Ops,LOL.

I bet he was never a Commando. I was. Did I tell you I was a Commando? I was. SOrt of. Well I knew some.

At least you guys have the Stolen Valor Act. we only get to hammer them legally if they wear medals in public they aren't entitled to or make out they are an officer when they aren't etc. For everything else we have to bash them ourselves if we can be bothered. Mostly we can't. Be bothered.

A few years ago I met a bloke who said he had been an MP too (after I said i used to be one). He mentioned our cap badge of a crown over a wreath surmounted by two crossed swords. I asked him what the swords were meant to symbolize. He said some crap about truth and justice. I laughed and told him he was full of it and never an MP. The swords are there because you need one to defend yourself with while you use the other to stab your mate in the back. If he had really been an MP he would have known that, now piss off. He slunk out amidst much merriment.
