Well we, the subjects of US Foreign Policy who don't get a vote, like him. Far better than that puppet of the neo-cons George Dubbya from where we sit. Still, we voted in Rudd, a lefty and he has left everyone wondering why did we do it!

Obama is popular here in Britain and from what I hear he is popular in Europe. He has a kind of pop star appeal to people who aren’t even interested in politics, a bit like Nelson Mandela.  My humble opinion is that he is good for America’s international image but bad for Americans.

He seems to run around the world humbling his country and almost sounds apologetic for being American at times. I’d be furious if I was a Yank. Didn’t his wife say something about being proud of America for the first time when he was elected? Hardly the words of a patriot. Then there was that bow to the Saudi King…………

He is the most a**kissing, socialistic US President we have ever had in the White House. I would bet right now that if the Saudi King would ask him to, he would kiss his posterior. Zero despises all of what America stands for and given his questionable citizenship status, he does not deserve to be President. And as far as gun control goes, he is not able to mount any action for it. He might have some tricks up his sleeve to make it appear that he isn't doing anything. So far the US has not given in to CIFTA/UN and the IANSA at this time because the gun owners and gun rights organizations like the NRA, GOA (am a member of both), etc. are keeping tabs on those left-wingers, the Health Care reform bill, and Zero. I wish Zero only 4 yrs. in office.

Both. Iraq was for all the wrong reasons, no connection to 9/11 and we were lied to about WMD etc. It was all about oil. Afghanistan was not about getting Al Qaida either. It was about getting that oil pipeline through from one 'Stan to another. The USA supported all three, Saddam, Bin Laden and the Taliban when it suited them, just as they did to Batista then Castro, Noriega and the rest. Bush and his Neo-Con puppet masters had very ulterior motives indeed.

Still, I'd rather Bush in charge of the world's largest military than  Kim Il Jung or Armandjian what's his name.

Man, did we screw that up. We went throught a horrible, economy wrecking gas/oil  price increase and gas is quite high again. Iraq has not paid back a dime and we are buying some oil from Iraq. Not getting any free....we haven't confiscated any oil wells...wonder how we benefited...

Oh the pipeline. the "Neo Con" masters...ahhh...I presume of no particular nationality...international...Russian...etc. neo cons...conspired to build the pipeline and get ...oil in and out of...? To?

MAN! Someone who would do all that for a pipeline must be the most insidious, evil, heartless bastard. A James Bond villian! Imagine the profile of such a leader! Worst of the worst psychopath to reek some destruction to build a pipeline. Forgoing all human life...thoughtlessly. Premeditated. Imagine the international, global PLANNING! What competent geniuses to pull off such a global scheme.

Yes, Bush is either one of the most evil geniuses of all time, or the utter, empty-headed idiot - and then this international cartel pulled his empty-headed strings. They must then been the worst, psycho humans collected in history.

Maybe someday people will understand that:

Hock, you can be as sarcastic as you like  ;D but the rest of the world see things slightly differently in many cases. Just because you personally aren't getting any free oil doesn't mean others didn't. Blackwater and all those private contractors that made billions out of the place, how many were owned by Cheney and Rumsfeld and the Bush family?

I'm pretty sure no terrorist with a half dozen hours up his sleeve flew a 757 across the lawn and into the Pentagon without touching the grass once. I don't know what happened there but I don't believe it was as it has been portrayed. I can't accept the whole thing was a conspiracy, too many people in the know and too many mouths to keep shut. But maybe one day before I die I will know the truth, not that it will make a scrap of difference.

Hey, I was chuckling the other day when I read how that stunt of Bush on the aircraft carrier claiming the war in Iraq was won and over happened off the coast of San Diego! Never gave it another thought at the time. Like many, I thought it was in the Persian Gulf and the carrier was actively involved in the war at the time. In fact the camera crews had to be careful they didn't get the San Diego skyline in shot. What a joke.
