The one to SF Grads is about two inches longer and about 30-40 dollars cheaper than the civilian GB model.
The knife is free to grads of the SF course since 2002,SF Grads prior must purchase the Blade with proper documentation.
Civilian model has no serial numbers.
SF Grads can buy,or are given, serial numbered ones with a certificate that is not supposed to be sold and which are to be kept within a family, only one knife of this type issued per SF Grad.
If you are an SF Grad and entitled to a Knife Mr Harsey and Mr Reeve will autograph it for you if you want.

The good news is Chris Reeves has some of the best finished production knives in the world and  have been made in America for some time now.

Other than that its not a big deal. If you want to you can even say its jumping on the band wagon to sell knives the same way many of the guys who train a few SF claim they are "Aproved" by "Special Forces." If you do the numbers the SF market is less than a micro market so the only profits to be made are by selling a knife to a person who wants a "SF Knife" the same way many want to be trained by SF Instructors.
