Got the new issue today.
As usual, Steve Dick and the team did a beautiful job of making a great looking color magazine. God, it is full of all kinds of knives, huh? Page after page after page.
I wonder, how in the world do these knife makers and knife companies compete against each other. On almost any two pages, there are at least four or more knives that look, well, almost identical in so many ways.
How can anyone pick one over the other.
There are two kinds of knives. Fixed blades and folders. At least teaching knife techniques it is best to work off of these two generic prototypes so that they will apply to all people getting knives.
But, if I were to design a knife? What would be new? Huh?
