Knife For Warpost Training
« on: June 11, 2010, 06:44:00 PM »

I am planning to make a warpost similar to the one Hock uses in the "Solo Command And Mastery of The Knife" dvd. I would like opinions on a good quality, but relatively inexpensive knife for the purpose of this type of training. I've looked at the GLOCK field knives, and they can be had for $35 to $40. Are these sturdy enough to use on the warpost including pommel/handle strikes? Any input you folks can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the advice, Mr. Hubbard. As Hock might say, I do need to "bond" with my knife(s).
