Major Carter from Stargate SG-1.  Never mind that she's the Black Widow and every man she gets near dies.

I like the ones played by Jodie Foster (forgot the name of that movie) and Sally Field (Eye For and Eye). Both are ordinary citizens that decide to take the law into their own hands. ;)

Recently discovered "Eureka", the SciFi series, on Netflix. While it's not a specific action role per se, Erica Cerra plays Jo Lupo, a hot ex Army Ranger who could probably beat me up. Which somehow makes her even hotter.

Never miss an episode.
In the first year Lupo was an Special Forces bad ass.

Now she's gotten all kinds of goopy and nesty with each year.

She's a babe.

Hey, you two knuckleheads!

This thread is about female action HEROES;

NOT females in need of some ACTION. Although it would probably take a real hero to give it to them...

Kentbob,
Aren't you a single super hero? I understand they're both loaded:

Something to think about and it seems Martha's already on your mind. :P
