It's all over the world. I afraid to say.I watched UK TV Channel Four last night. Documentary Programme was called Hospital. Filming took place in The Royal London, one doctor spoke of treating a thirteen year old boy for stab wounds, dealing with fourteen separate stab victims in one three day period ( in one dept. ). One sixteen year old boy was filmed having been in the hospital for almost a year and having undergone nine operations following a single stab wound to the heart. He had suffered multiple organ failare, had needed skin graft's and those had become septic.

Another sixteen year old boy was filmed after being stabbed on a bus for a mobile phone. He was in massive distress and was close to bleeding out before being stabilised by the paramedic's.

One in four people going into trauma was a knife wound victim.

Let us learn from the mistakes of others and the life lessons that are clearly demonstrated to us. Train realistically, train in first-aid for self and others, do not let your guard down. A child can kill an adult with a knife with ease.

I went and trained in the philliphenes recently and looking at the weapons culture there i have got a complety different outlook on self defence some of the scenarios they come out with make you think much differently.
