Parade at 8th and I
« on: August 01, 2010, 04:55:43 PM »

Friday evening my wife and I along with about 100 other retired SgtMajors USMC and retired MasterGys were in attendance at the sunset parade at 8th and I-it was a
ausome inspiring parade-the silent drill team was beautiful and at the end up on the rampardes of the barracks a bugler played Taps after a deidication was given to all of the military who have lost their lives in the defense of thier country- I met SgtMajors who faught in the korean war all the way up to Afganistan-it was something I always wanted to see and i recommend it to any one who wants to see the backbone of our country and what it means to be a american.

I and my family have been to several Friday Evening Shows and enjoyed them all.
I would encourage everyone to see it at some point in their lives as it is inspiring.
