Well you know Segal is Sutter Ink's wife and the hole show was created to showcase her acting skills. She is really the queen bee, not only of SAMCRO but the show itself too. I guess that's how Hal Halbrook got in there. More acting chops stuff for her. In fact I think I saw here solo listed like a major writing cred, or producer in the creds in the end.

It's all a train wreck that holds my attention every week.

There is no real promise that they will go to Belfast. The upcoming shots were too quick for me. The Irishman is in Belfast. There is no certainty that he will stay there and if the Sons do go there, there is no certainty that it will interesting.

When I saw the Belfast scene all I could think about was an extended scene of SAMCRO sight seeing around on scooters, trying and kilts, and having a grand ol' time as tourists with big smiles on their faces. The Belfast story line better pay off.

I also thought the funeral scene was dumb. Who was working security that night. The cops, SAMCRO, or Narcoleptic's anonymous?

Other than that a slow show compared to other SoA episodes.

We'd a missed him shooting whats-his-name in the left shoulder while he was doing whats-her-name in the back bedroom!

I enjoyed this episode much more than that dud of an opener. More new characters and lots of fun with them! I'm most interested in seeing what they do with Father Kellan, who supposedly has a 6 episode story arc. Although, somehow, it (the Irish twist) all reminds me of the Boondock Saints. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, for sure.

If you like Holbrook and you haven't seen it yet, That Evening Sun was an excellent movie. It also has Walton Goggins in it, from Justified and Predators (among other good stuff).

I just took Hocks words for it, and downloaded the 1st season.  Big MISTAKE!!  Now I have to buy them all!  What a forking show!!  Like the show alot.  Not enough to get a tatoo though..

I thought this season was good,the end was Great.

Got to get to my Sons of Anarchy Tee shirts and Sweat shirts,lol.
They even have Sons of Anarchy with a New York  Bottom Rocker,saw some people wearing them in the stores,lol.

Saw the last show of season 3. A preposterous turn of physical events, but I watched every silly minute. And the plot thickens for next year as the Hamlet scenario is really going to increase!

I'd give the first season a strong B. The second season really knocked it out of the park and was an A+.

This season.... a C.

But! And here's the real secret to watching this show...DO NOT watch it when it's on TV. Wait for the season to end and watch it online or get the DVD when it comes out. It's really the only way to watch this show. It's just too frustrating to watch and wait, watch and wait, etc. It gives too much time to think about the ridiculous goofs and preposterous character development. If you watch the show back to back, it all blends and gels.

If I had watched it like that (and I did end up recording and watching the final three episodes), I would have rated the season a B.

PS There's a good business lesson regarding tshirts, sweatshirts and swag when you're talking about Sons. They didn't predict the popularity and so they didn't produce any until recently!
